These Terms and Conditions ("Digital Terms") specifically govern the purchase and use of downloadable 3D model files ("Digital Content") offered on Little Tag Studio.

Please Note: Our website offers both physical custom name tags ("Physical Products") and downloadable digital files. These Digital Terms apply exclusively to the purchase of Digital Content. Terms regarding the purchase and shipping of Physical Products are governed by our separate Shipping & Return Policy / Terms of Sale.

1. Nature of Service (Digital Downloads)

• Digital Delivery Only: When you purchase Digital Content, you are purchasing a license to download an STL file. No physical item will be shipped to you for these specific transactions.
• Distinction from Physical Orders: Please ensure you have selected the correct product type before checkout. Orders for Digital Content are fulfilled automatically via download link and are treated differently from orders for Physical Products.

2. License and Usage Rights

Upon purchase of the Digital Content, the scope of your usage rights depends on the specific license type ("Personal Use" or "Commercial Use") associated with your purchase.

2.1 Personal Use License

Unless explicitly stated otherwise or a commercial license is purchased, all Digital Content is for Personal Use Only.

• Permitted Use: You may use the Digital Content for private purposes (e.g., home decoration, DIY projects) and print physical items for yourself or as non-monetary gifts for friends and family.
• Strict Non-Commercial Restriction: Under the Personal Use License, you are strictly prohibited from selling, licensing, or using the physical prints for any commercial gain.
  • No Sales of Prints: You may NOT sell the 3D printed items in any form (e.g., Etsy, Amazon, craft fairs, or private sales).
  • No Promotional Use: You may NOT use the prints as freebies or promotional materials to market a business or service.

2.2 Commercial License (If Applicable)

If you purchase a specific "Commercial License" for the Digital Content:

• Authorized Sales: You are authorized to 3D print and sell the physical end-products produced from the Digital Content.
• Scope: This right applies only to the physical items. It does not grant rights to the digital data itself.

2.3 Restrictions Applicable to ALL Licenses

Regardless of whether you hold a Personal or Commercial License, the following restrictions regarding the digital files always apply:

• No Digital Resale or Redistribution: You are strictly prohibited from selling, sharing, distributing, or sub-licensing the STL files (original or modified) in any digital format.
• Strict No File Sharing: Download file sharing is strictly prohibited. This includes uploading to public model sharing websites like MakerWorld or Thingiverse.
• No Derivatives Distribution: You may modify the file for printing purposes, but you may not sell or distribute the modified digital files.
• No Mass Manufacturing: Mass production using molds (e.g., injection molding) is prohibited. The license covers 3D printing methods only.

3. Refunds and Cancellations

All sales of Digital Content are final.

Unlike our Physical Products, which may be subject to return policies, Digital Content cannot be returned or refunded once the download link has been generated or accessed.

• Preview Requirement: Users are responsible for verifying the design, spelling, and geometry using the 3D preview feature provided on the website before purchasing.

4. Disclaimers

• Printability: We provide the Digital Content "as is." While verified for printability, we do not guarantee successful prints on every printer configuration. The user is responsible for their own slicing settings and hardware maintenance.
• Data Integrity: We are not responsible for compatibility issues with specific software versions (e.g., CAD software or slicers).

5. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights to the Digital Content remain the property of Little Tag Studio. Purchasing a license does not transfer copyright ownership.

6. Governing Law

These Digital Terms shall be governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.
